My old Roomates

My latest roommate, as of 10/1/04 is Betty, my most adorable roomie ever:

What a stinker. Litrally!

From around 7/2000 - 5/2002 my roommates were Tom and Amisha:Aren't they adorable?

We all liveD together in an apartment that I think was meant for one person. It has one real bedroom. Tom threw up a wall and called a 9'x7' space Amisha's bedroom. Then Tom moved a million items into the living room and now lives there. I had the one real bedroom. Whew. Of course I paid the most rent. Duh.

Before that, I lived in Hoboken, NJ with my sister and adil: How cute are we?

During the summer of 1992 I lived in a fraternity house, in Hoboken, New Jersey, and roomed with Eric Monte. That bastard was always screaming that I never cleaned the fishbowl. What can I say ? They were not my fish. If I had it my way, the whole bowl and it's contents would have been tossed out the window.
Actually Monte is one of my best friends on the planet. I love him.

During the first months of this year, 1996, I rented a room in the house of Steven Cole, in Los Alamos. He washed all my dishes and taught me how to ski. Hard to complain about that. He did, however, have the habit of saying rather inappropriate things to people that phoned for me. For instance, if my sweet little mom called the house looking for me late at night, he might tell her, innocently, that, "I think shannon is spending the night in a hotel with some guy," ...and that is not something my mother wanted to hear. As another instance, if a man Steven knew I was dating called the house looking for me late at night, he might tell the man, ever-so innocently again, that, "I think shannon is spending the night in a hotel with some guy." Of course this was never true.

Here is my Last male roommate:

Eric (above) refused to kill the bugs that got into my room at night. And the bugs were in my room because he would leave the door open. And why is that? Because he thought that it was hot. I froze my butte off every night for this reason. At 3am every morning I would wake up in chills and surrounded by bugs. I lived with Eric until July of 1996.

Here is Eric (Evio) again, with his truck:

If you live in Los Alamos, you know this truck! Let me tell you I have yet to experience anything more frightening than being in a vehicle with Eric at the wheel. Sometimes he pulls some wacked-out driving stunts. Really. Drives me NUTS.

My female ex-roomates include Bek, Heidi, and Bea. Perhaps I should say more about them. Another time.
